FLORENCE ISD

This will be my my 6^th year in public education in Texas (Coaching and Teaching), and my first with Florence ISD! I will be teaching 11^th Grade US History, and 12^th Grade government and economics.

I have taught and coached for Georgetown and Belton ISDs. Prior to starting my career in education, I was a noncommisioned officer in the US Army to include depolyment to Afghanistan for the Global War on Terror in Operation Enduring Freedom.

I am not a Texas native, but I got here as quickly as I could. Thanks to Uncle Sam and the US Army, I fell in love with our great state and decided that I never wanted to call any place other than Texas my home. I have a “6-going-on-16 year old” daughter, Lorelai, and my fiancee’, Kymberly and I will be tying the knot this December. In my free time, I enjoy being with them every second I can. I am an avid reader, as well as a Harry Potter superfan!

I am very happy to be here in Florence ISD and I am looking forward to having a great year with you in class. For some of you, this will be your last year in school (which is OK!!!!), so let’s make it the best year we can together!
