FLORENCE ISD

Welcome to my classroom!!  I am so excited to be your child’s teacher!  This is my tenth year teaching.  I have taught 4^th grade for 5 years and 5^th grade for 5 years.  During that time, I have taught all subjects.  This is my first year teaching in Florence. It is a great community!  I am so happy to be here and feel so blessed to be able to teach your children!  

My husband and I have two daughters.  Kyla is 8 and Makenzie is 6.  Everyone in our family loves animals, especially Kyla.  We have our dog Abby who is about 10.  Since the girls have come along, we have 4 new pets: our adopted cat Sammy, Kiki the bearded dragon, and the girls’ two guinea pigs Pretty and Brownie.  My husband and his family are from Burnet.  We lived in Bertram for many years before moving near Liberty Hill.  I grew up near Lubbock in a very small town like Florence called Idalou.  I love being a part of Florence!  It feels like home.   I look forward to getting to know more people on the community and teaching your children!
