Substitute Teacher Orientation and Training

Florence ISD is conducting substitute teacher orientation and training on Thursday, November 7, 2019, from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Attendance at one training and orientation session is required in order to substitute teach in Florence ISD. Attendees will not be paid for the substitute teacher training; however, the training is required annually to substitute teach in Florence ISD. The training substitute teachers receive will include information needed to learn about substitute teaching roles and responsibilities, campus processes and procedures, and district and campus information. Florence ISD may add additional training dates to accommodate the needs of the district. Please contact Amy Branton in Human Resources at 254-793-2850 to make application for substitute teaching in Florence ISD. Applications will also be available at the substitute teacher orientation and training.
