Welcome to the 2025–2026 school year at Florence Elementary School! Our team is excited to begin another year of learning, growth, and connection. At FES, we believe that every child deserves a strong start built on consistency, structure, and care.
Our school wide systems—such as Formative Loop for daily fluency practice, graphic organizers to strengthen comprehension, and Buff Bucks to recognize positive behavior—help ensure that every student feels supported and successful. Each day begins with a calm, organized start that sets the tone for meaningful learning and lasting confidence.
At FES, we strive to create a culture where students plant kindness, show up ready to learn, work hard, and read every day. These habits help our students grow academically, socially, and emotionally, preparing them for success now and in the future.
We are proud of the partnerships we share with our families and community. By working together, we can help every student reach their full potential.

Dear Parents, Guardians, and Florence Elementary Community,
It is an honor to start my 30 th year in our new Florence Elementary school.
I have always considered myself fortunate to be a part of this district. My time in
the classroom has given me a deep appreciation for our students, our dedicated
staff, and the incredible support we receive from our parents and community. I
have seen firsthand the passion for learning that thrives in our hallways, and I am
committed to fostering an environment where every student feels inspired to
reach their full potential.
Each year, Florence Elementary celebrates a theme. This year’s theme is "Grow
with Kindness." Our theme gives everyone the chance to approach every
interaction, and moment with dedication and purpose. It means putting your best
effort forward in all you do to create a day you can be proud of. Additionally, it
provides an opportunity for individuals to start each day with a clean canvas,
regardless of the outcomes of yesterday.
I am a member of the FISD-Education Foundation in which we hold a fundraiser
each year where we collaborate and provide funds to ensure our school
continues to be a place of academic excellence and personal growth. I believe
that a strong partnership between home and school is essential for student
success, and I look forward to working with all of you to create a nurturing and
inclusive environment for all.
