The FISD business office ensures that stakeholders funds are managed in an ethically and fiscally responsible way. The office manages the district’s budgeting, bonds, accounts payable, purchasing, and payroll.

By publicly posting the following written disclosure (on website): “The Florence Independent School District intends that market participants receive and use it for purposes of the independent registered municipal advisor exemption to the SEC Municipal Advisor Rule. The Florence Independent School District has retained an independent registered municipal advisor. Florence Independent School District is represented by and will rely on its municipal advisor, Specialized Public Finance, to provide advice on proposals from financial services firms concerning the issuance of municipal securities. The individual with primary responsibility for advising Florence on such matters is Jennifer Ritter. This certificate may be relied upon until otherwise withdrawn by us.”
