All About Me

Howdy Florence Buffaloes! I'm so excited to be part of the Buff Herd! Let me tell you a little about myself. I was born and raised in Austin, Texas. My family and I lived in Georgetown for 13 years, but we built a barndo on our property in Florence four years ago, so now we live here. We really love living in the country. I have three children, and have been married for 29 years. My oldest son is 26, married, and fixing to have a little girl! So I'm going to be a grandma! My 16 year old daughter loves to swim, dance, read & write. She's in 10th grade at Florence High School, and fixing to get her driver's license! My youngest son is 12, and in 7th grade at Florence Middle School. He loves basketball, animals and swimming. When I'm not at work I spend time with my family. We enjoy swimming, going to the movies, and playing outside. We also have 2 dogs, 6 chickens and 6 cows. This is my 28th year of teaching, and my fourth year at Florence Elementary. My classroom door is always open! Feel free to come visit, or join us for a lesson.
