Coach Bode is a graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University and brings 22 years coaching experience to FISD. He was chosen from a field of over fifty applicants with eight finalists being interviewed by a committee made up of administrators and parents of student athletes.  Character and integrity were two of the top attributes we were seeking, along with the ability to build both the boys and girls athletic programs.  You will have an opportunity to meet Coach Bode and his family at a reception held in his honor on July 27^th at 6:00 p.m. in the Florence High School Library.  The reception will be followed at 7:00 by our Regular School Board Meeting.  Please come and join us in welcoming Coach Bode to Florence ISD.
